Hi, I’m Lucy.
I’m a home educating mum of two as well as a dual-certified trauma-informed holistic life coach and mind-body practitioner. I integrate a holistic approach to coaching with somatic practices to support mothers. I am also a writer and circle facilitator.
I’ve always been someone who questions, explores, and looks beneath the surface. My own journey through motherhood has shaped so much of who I am and the work I now do.
I support mothers who are navigating the many layers of modern motherhood — the decisions, expectations, responsibilities, and identity shifts that can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves.
Because I know what it feels like to lose touch with your own voice. And I know how powerful it can be to create the space to hear it again.
My Story
When I became a mother for the first time, the reality of motherhood was far more challenging than I expected.
I loved my son deeply, but I found the transition into motherhood overwhelming. I felt isolated and unsupported, navigating something life-changing without the space, guidance, or support I needed.
Looking back, I can see that I had become disconnected from myself. I was so focused on figuring out how to be the mother I thought I needed to be, that I had lost touch with my own needs, instincts, and sense of self.
That experience stayed with me and shapes the work I do today.
When I became pregnant with my second son, I approached things very differently. Immersing myself in learning about birth, practising meditation, completing a hypnobirthing course, and spending time reflecting on the kind of birth and early motherhood experience I wanted to create.
I felt informed, intentional, and deeply connected to my own instincts. I wanted to understand my choices, trust myself, and take an active role in my own journey rather than simply follow the path laid out in front of me.
During that time, I found myself considering training as a doula. I felt strongly drawn to birth work because I could see how much women need support, information, encouragement, and trust in their own wisdom.
Although my path ultimately led elsewhere, that desire never left me.
Today, it sits at the heart of everything I do. Whether through coaching, writing, or facilitating circles, my work is about creating spaces where mothers can feel heard and supported. Spaces where they can reconnect with themselves, trust their own voice, and make choices that feel right for them and their families.
What Shapes
My Work as a Trauma-Informed Holistic Life Coach
My work is shaped by my own experiences, questions, learning, and growth. It continues to evolve as I do.
My work draws on:
- My lived experience of motherhood and home education
- Holistic life coach and mind-body training
- Counselling and listening skills
- Meditation, mindfulness, and the practice of being present
- A lifelong curiosity about personal growth, philosophy, and what it means to be human
- My desire to create a slower, more intentional family life

Training & Qualifications
Life experience has shaped me, but so have the skills, knowledge and understanding I have gained through my training.
I take supporting women seriously. This work carries responsibility, and I believe that ethical practice requires ongoing learning, self-reflection, and a commitment to developing my skills. I have invested significantly in my training so that I can support women with care, integrity and professionalism.
I have completed the following trainings:
- Circle Holding Fundamentals — Circle Holding
- Meditation Teacher Diploma — Soul Awakening Academy
- Insight Coach Practitioner (Accelerate Programme) — Insight Coaching
- Dual Certified Holistic Life Coach & Mind-Body Practitioner (400-hour professional training) — Mind Body Food Institute
- Counselling & Psychotherapy Foundation — Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling
- Ongoing: Trauma-Informed Skills Training — Soul Awakening Academy

Lucy encouraged me towards some truths that I found confronting, and while it was uncomfortable it was necessary to address what these truths meant for me. In this space, Lucy was very supportive

Whether you’re looking for a supportive space to connect with other mothers, deeper individual support, or simply words to reflect on in your own time, there are different ways to connect with my work.
Ways to Connect

Circles
A chance to pause, connect, and share space with other mothers who understand.

1:1 Support
A supportive space to untangle what’s feeling difficult and reconnect with what matters most.

Letters
I write letters about community, embodiment, and finding our way back to ourselves and one another.
Wherever you are on your journey, I hope you find a space here that helps you pause, listen inward, and reconnect with your own voice.
